How did this turn out? I was thinking of grabbing a tin of the Cascade porter and combining it with another generic 1.5kg tin of dark liquid malt. With our without the honey perhaps. Your thoughts?

This is an absolute ripper of a recipe, one that became a staple for me when I was still living in Australia. Substituting in a 1.5kg can of dark malt will be fine (because it’s around 20% water anyway), and I’d leave in the honey if I were you because its aroma blends nicely with that from the Cascade.

    Enjoy!
